The N.C. Children's Promise, held in conjunction with Curtis Media Group and Time Warner, raises funds to benefit children’s programs and further support the continuation of excellence within the medical and surgical programs housed in the N.C. Children’s Hospital. Fifteen radio stations broadcast live from 5 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. seeking just $25 from more than 800,000 listeners. This is the largest single fundraising event for UNC Hospitals. We began our journey at UNC Hospital with the birth of a little girl Halle Purvis, She weighed one pound 7 ounces. We were able to bring her home 3 days short of her 1st birthday thanks to all of the wonderful Doctors and nurses that are now our extended famiy. We can never thank them enough for all they have done.
